Easts App
We have re-built the Easts App to EastsApp3. This is to make managing your user account and player profiles easier as well as to increase security.
However, everyone will need to re-create their user accounts and player profiles. Details on how to do this are on this page.
Remove the old app
We are starting fresh, so you need to remove the old app.
Hold down on the old app icon and choose the option to remove/delete.
If asked, you can choose to delete all data for that app.
Install EastsApp3
EastsApp3 is a web app, so it is not installed from Google Play or the App Store.
Make sure that you use the browsers that are specified in order to support all functionality - particularly for Apple devices.
Android Phones
-
Open Chrome
-
Enter this address www.easts.app (the www must be included)
-
A pop-up should appear asking if you want to install the app
-
Tap on install
This will add an icon (the Easts tiger) to your phone screen.
Use that icon to open EastsApp3.
Apple Phones
-
Open Safari
-
Enter this address www.easts.app (the www must be included)
-
At the bottom of the screen click on the icon that is a square with an up arrow
-
Scroll down and tap on Add to Home Screen
This will add an icon (the Easts tiger) to your phone screen.
Use that icon to open EastsApp3.
Create a User Profile
We are starting fresh in EastsApp3, so everyone will need to create a User Profile.
-
At the login screen choose the black button Don't have a profile?
-
Complete your details - note that you don't need to create a username anymore as the app will use your email address for login. This means that every user needs to have a unique email address. And multiple profiles cannot be created for the same email address.
-
You will then be sent an email with a verification link.
-
Once you have verified your email, go back into EastsApps (using the icon on your phone screen) and login.
Create Player Profiles
Player profiles are for everyone who is playing in competitions or participating in training programs. They are needed even if you (the user) are also the player.
They allow one user to have many players connected to their account e.g. parents who have a number of children playing with Easts.
It also means that both a younger person and their parent/guardian can have separate access to the player profile.
-
After logging in, you will see your home screen with a heading Players linked to you
-
Tap on the button Add another player
-
Choose from the two buttons - is the player you or a child - as this pre-completes some of the information for you
-
Complete the remaining details - for players under 18 years of age the parent/guardian information must be completed
-
Click the green button Create this player
This will take you to the players profile.
A short video explaining user accounts and player profiles. Very useful if you are using the app for the first time.
Getting around Player Profiles
Player profiles contain all information for the player including registering for all events, what they have registered for and the teams that they have been added to.
Accessing these things from the player profile means that registering is very quick without the need for you to re-enter information about the player.
Profile quick guide
The player's personal information including emergency contact information.
Training programs such a Junior Development, Social Training, Pre-PVL training including registering for a training program
Trials for competitions such as PVL2024 trials including registering for an open Trial.
Competition teams that a player is part of such as teams for PVL2024
Details of how you can access information about fees and payments.
