At Easts Volleyball, we have implemented a comprehensive Member Protection Strategy to ensure the well-being and safety of all individuals involved in our club. This strategy encompasses a range of policies and procedures designed to protect our members from harm and create a positive sporting experience.
We take the protection of young individuals involved in our club very seriously. Our Young Person Safeguarding policy outlines the measures we have in place to provide a safe and nurturing environment for young members. It includes guidelines for appropriate conduct, reporting procedures, and codes of conduct for coaches, officials, and volunteers working with young individuals.
Concussions are a serious concern in sports, and we prioritize the safety and well-being of our members by adhering to strict concussion management protocols. Our policy outlines the recognition, assessment, and steps to be taken when a concussion is suspected, emphasizing the importance of proper medical evaluation and safe return-to-play procedures.
